MOBILIZATIONS OF FOREST FIREFIGHTERS IN ARAGÓN
The works council of Sarga , the Aragonese public company in charge of the forest firefighting operation , is going to start mobilizations to demand better conditions in the operation and to avoid unacceptable situations such as months without surveillance points in many places , or that the number of tanker drivers is insufficient , or that the airborne crews are some months without helicopters . They believe that the budget increase falls short of what is needed to respond to the increase in new generation fires caused by climate change . This spring we will have a special issue of OTWO dedicated to wildfires .
Movilizaciones de los bomberos forestales en Aragón .
El comité de empresa de Sarga , la empresa pública aragonesa que se encarga del operativo de contraincendios forestales va comenzar unas movilizaciones para exigir mejores condiciones en el operativo y evitar situaciones tan inaceptables como que haya meses sin puntos de vigilancia en muchos lugares , o que la dotación de conductores de camiones cisternas sea insuficiente , o que las cuadrillas aerotransportadas estén algunos meses sin helicópteros . Consideran que el aumento presupuestario se queda corto para poder responder al aumento de incendios de nueva generación provocados por el cambio climático . Esta primavera sacaremos un número especial de OTWO dedicado a los incendios forestales .
