Climate , One Future # Together . The theme aims to “ showcase the different ways in which the diverse representation of Gibraltar ’ s community is mitigating its plastic and carbon footprint and how the Climate Crisis is at the global forefront .”
TNP is looking for local businesses , organisations , charities and clubs that have implemented the highest number of green initiatives , including minimising their carbon and plastic footprints . To the Nautilus Project , no sustainable transition is too small !
The following six categories will apply to submissions : Flora and Fauna ; Energy Conservation ; Water Conservation ; Waste Management ; Environment ; Pollution and Climate Change .
Examples of green initiatives may include , but are not limited to : Awarded the most TN certificates since accreditations began ; Implementation of Energy Saving Practices ; Recycling in the workplace ; cutbacks in single-use plastics ; plastic free events ; reduction in CO 2 emissions ; sustainability in the workplace and positive impacts on Gibraltar ’ s coastlines .

Tras cuatro años de increíble éxito , el Proyecto Nautilus ha anunciado la 5 ª edición consecutiva de los Premios Gibraltar Sostenible en colaboración con el GFSB .
El tema de este año es Un Planeta , Un Océano , Un Clima , Un Futuro # Juntos . El tema pretende " mostrar las diferentes formas en que la diversa representación de la comunidad de Gibraltar está mitigando su huella de plástico y carbono y cómo la Crisis Climática está en la vanguardia mundial ".
El TNP busca empresas , organizaciones , entidades benéficas y clubes locales que hayan puesto en marcha el mayor número de iniciativas ecológicas , incluida la minimización de sus huellas de carbono y plástico . Para el Proyecto Nautilus , ¡ ninguna transición sostenible es demasiado pequeña !
Las candidaturas se presentarán en las seis categorías siguientes : Flora y Fauna ; Conservación de la Energía ; Conservación del Agua ; Gestión de Residuos ; Medio Ambiente ; Contaminación y Cambio Climático .

BEE REPOPULATION PROJECT BEGIN IN MALAGA
A project to repopulate the Iberian Peninsula with 47 million Iberian bees ( Apis mellifera iberiensis ) was launched in Malaga in February . The aim is to introduce that number in two years to reverse the trend of disappearing native bee species and help preserve ecosystems .
Promoted by tech company LG , the Smart Green Bees project will collaborate artisan beekeeper association El Rincon de la Abeja , which is serving as technical adviser for the project . The association brings together beekeepers from different regions , including Valencia , Malaga and Barcelona .
Locations to reintroduce the bees have been chosen based on their suitability to support sustainable beekeeping , where swarms can thrive , and where ecosystems can benefit the most .
