La cita forma parte del esfuerzo del Ayuntamiento de Casares por mantener vivo el legado de Blas Infante mediante propuestas culturales y pedagógicas que refuercen su vigencia entre las nuevas generaciones. A SECOND LIFE FOR BOOKS
The Unión Cultural Deportiva Linense has launched an initiative to promote reading by offering a free selection of books from various genres. These books come from surplus library stock— duplicate titles or volumes no longer in use— and are now available to anyone interested.
The aim is to give these books a second life, encouraging those who pick them up to pass them on after reading, so that more people can enjoy them. This way, the books avoid being forgotten in boxes, collecting dust.
The giveaway will be available while supplies last, during the organization’ s regular hours: from 9:00 a. m. to 2:00 p. m. and from 4:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m.
Una segunda vida para el libro
La Unión Cultural Deportiva Linense ha puesto en marcha una iniciativa para fomentar la lectura, ofreciendo gratuitamente una selección de libros de distintos géneros. Se trata de ejemplares procedentes de los fondos sobrantes de su biblioteca— títulos repetidos o que ya no se usan— que ahora se ponen al alcance de cualquier persona interesada.
El objetivo es darles una segunda vida, invitando a quienes los recojan a que, una vez leídos, los compartan con otras personas. Así se evita que estos libros terminen olvidados en cajas acumulando polvo.
La entrega estará disponible hasta agotar existencias y en el horario habitual de la entidad: de 9:00 a 14:00 y de 16:00 a 21:00.
