A huge welcome to our January 2025 edition of OTWO Magazine ! WOW — 2025 ; it feels like a year straight out of a sci-fi movie , but here we are , embracing an age of change and innovation . This year , we have so many exciting projects to kick off , setting the tone for a remarkable 2025 .
On page 32 , we ’ re thrilled to share exciting news : OTWO Magazine has partnered with Marca Parque Natural de Andalucía to launch a monthly feature highlighting the natural , cultural , and economic treasures of Andalusia ’ s protected areas . This section will showcase certified products and services under the Andalusia Natural Park Brand , a sustainability label created by the Junta de Andalucía in 2001 . From olive oil , cheeses , wines , and artisan goods to rural tourism experiences , these offerings embody quality , authenticity , and environmental respect . Through this collaboration , we aim to inspire readers to value Andalusia ’ s ecological and cultural wealth while fostering sustainable development and promote circular economy in the region .
Another exciting initiative is the launch of OTWO- Pod , our very first podcast , premiering this month ! Dedicated entirely to sustainability , OTWOPod will feature insightful conversations designed to inspire change and foster growth in our community and beyond . Season one focuses on Business-to-Business ( B2B ) discussions , with 12 episodes , each 20 minutes long , exploring topics such as reducing carbon footprints , achieving ESG and CSR goals , and overcoming challenges in sustainability . Episodes will be released twice a month , on the 10th and 20th , and will be available on Spotify , Apple Podcasts , the OTWO Magazine website , and YouTube . If certain topics resonate strongly , we ’ ll explore them further in future seasons , diving into areas like transportation , construction , and sustainable living tips .
On page 66 , Anthony Pitaluga recounts his fascinating experience on a walking tour of wartime Berlin , exploring sites tied to the Third Reich and World War II . Beginning with a stormy Berlin night and vivid reflections on the absurdity of war , the article takes readers to key historical landmarks , including the Kindertransport station and the Reichstag Building . This rich blend of historical insight and personal reflection sets the stage for the final installment of Anthony ’ s journey in next month ’ s edition .
Turn to page 50 to read “ Isla Verde , the Treasure of the Strait ” by Ana María Berenjeno Borrego , an exploration of the historical and cultural significance of Isla Verde . Located in the Bay of Algeciras near the Strait of Gibraltar , this small island has been a pivotal hub for maritime routes throughout history . From its prehistoric roots and links to ancient myths to its role in the 711 Arab-Berber invasion and the 1801 Battle of Algeciras , the island ’ s story is a testament to its enduring importance .
