You are a member of the Spanish Society of Speleology and Karst Sciences ( Sedeck ), what does the society consist of ?
Sedeck is a national entity that includes researchers of Karst in the Peninsula . Its aims are mainly to promote and disseminate the sciences of Speleology and Karst , to encourage scientific studies related to the conservation of caves and their natural contents , to facilitate scientific communication between people interested in the study of karst and to maintain a channel of effective dialogue with the administrations and entities dedicated to the management of this environment .
It is clear that it is an entity that I thought it was necessary to be part of , I joined it at the end of 1999 . How was the creation and development of S . I . E . Caxara ?
The creation of the Speleological Research Society Caxara was a need shared by a group of speleologists in the area , since our main point of research and exploration was the Sierra de la Utrera located in Casares ( Malaga ), although we have been expanding our field of activities to the Sierra Crestellina for many years . Without leaving aside , of course , the activities along the karstic massifs of Andalusia , both in the Natural Park of Grazalema and in the National Park of Sierra de las Nieves , and of course the explorations carried out in Cantabria and the Pyrenees .
In addition , one of the main lines of work of Ges Casares is the coordination of the Project of Investigation and Exploration of the Sierra de la Utrera , valor del Yacimiento Neolítico del Sistema Subterráneo de las Hediondas ( Casares ), y otros muchos resultados de investigación son fruto del equipo de espeleólogos involucrados en la investigación y exploración subterránea . Actualmente eres Vicepresidente de la Asociación Andaluza de Exploraciones Subterráneas ( AAES ), ¿ Cuáles son sus principales objetivos ?
La AAES nació hace ya algunos años , a principios de 2006 , como un proyecto de integración de los grupos de espeleología andaluces en los diferentes proyectos de investigación y exploración así como su promoción y divulgación en la Comunidad de Andalucía .
El fin de la Asociación es la colaboración y apoyo en las investigaciones y exploraciones que se están realizando en las grandes cavidades andaluzas , en las que es preciso contar con un elevado equipo de espeleólogos para llevarlas a cabo , en casos como el Sistema Subterráneo de Cabito-Republicano , Sima GESM-Sima de la Luz , Sima Chupadora , Los tajos Coloraos , etc .
Así mismo actualmente la Asociación acomete diferentes exploraciones e investigaciones en convenio con diversos Ayuntamientos Sevillanos , como Carmona , Alcalá de Guadaira , Alcaudete o Torreperogil en Jaen ; para el estudio de las minas de agua romanas de estas localidades , que ya han alcanzado más de diez kilómetros de galerías topografiadas , y donde últimamente se ha localizado un impresionante aljibe romano . Eres socio de la Sociedad Española de Espeleología y Ciencias del Karst ( Sedeck ). ¿ En qué consiste la sociedad ?
La Sedeck es una entidad nacional que engloba a los investigadores del Karst de la Península . Sus fines son principalmente promover y difundir las ciencias de la Espeleología y del Karst , fomentar los estudios científicos relacionados con la conservación de las cavidades y sus contenidos naturales , facilitar la comunicación científica entre las personas interesadas en el estudio del karst y mantener un cauce de diálogo eficaz con las administraciones y entidades dedicadas a la gestión de este entorno .
Esta claro que es una entidad de la que creí necesario formar parte , me incorporé a ella a finales de 1999 . ¿ Cómo fue la creación y desarrollo del S . I . E . Caxara ?
