At AMA Services Ltd we understand the positive effects smart cities and construction designs have on the larger environment, for this reason we are collaborating with Calpe Electrics and EspLED to transform Gibraltar into a sustainable and efficient city, through the integration of Information and Communication Technologies( ICT), improving citizens quality of life.
Smart Environment Refers to an intelligent environment that optimises natural resources to create a cleaner, more efficient environment.
Environmental Quality – Granting real time knowledge of atmospheric and acoustic pollution, such as temperature, humidity, CO2, and much more, to manage industrial, leisure and road traffic impacts on the environment. Whilst also including warning and alarms should the established environment quality levels be exceeded.
Remote Lighting Control – With star lighting solution( LORAWAN) in the public lighting infrastructure, it will be possible to switch on, switch off and control each of the luminaires in a simple way. Additionally, the change / renovation of the obsolete urban luminaire to LED-type lighting contributes to the optimisation of consumption, thanks to its more advanced technology and longer useful life, intending to achieve more efficient and durable lighting.
Photovoltaic Installations – Monitoring and optimising the production of photovoltaic solar energy, adapting to different infrastructures of electrical energy networks, for example isolated systems, hybrid systems with batteries, and / or zero injection grid connection facilities. Furthermore, Photovoltaic installations in available spaces allows for use of areas not previously designated for specific use, thus reflecting on energy consumption.
Water Supply – Utilising high quality reading systems / meters that are able to provide accurate consumption levels. Thus, allowing for more efficient use of water, achieving measurable savings levels, and improving supply management.
Water Management – More efficient management of waste through the introduction of integrated and compact multi-sensor IoT devices that will facilitate the monitoring of the containers filling status of different fractions, as well as their geolocation or the detection of possible risk situations( fire, vandalism, etc.).
Irrigation Management – The application of irrigation policies adapted to the needs of the vegetation depending on the weather conditions.
