Human influence on the climate system is well-established and growing , with effects visible on all continents and oceans . The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change ( IPCC ) currently claims that human activity is the primary driver of global warming , based on substantial scientific evidence .
It also states that the greater the disruption to the climate caused by such activity , the greater the likelihood of serious , widespread , and irreversible consequences for people and ecosystems .
In all emissions scenarios assessed in the IPCC Fifth Assessment Report , projections indicate that surface temperatures will continue to rise throughout the 21st century . It is very likely that heat waves will occur more frequently and last longer ,
La influencia humana en el sistema climático es clara y va en aumento , y sus impactos se observan en todos los continentes y océanos . Actualmente , y con evidencias científicas suficientes , el Panel Intergubernamental de Cambio Climático ( IPCC por sus siglas en inglés ) asegura que la actividad humana es la causa principal del calentamiento global .
