The Cadiz School of Art is a reference in artistic training in the region . Each year , its students demonstrate a high level in different artistic areas .
And from these pages we want to applaud the work of two of its most brilliant students , Andrea Zarzuela and Nerea Becerra , who have done their professional internships as illustrators in our magazine .
It is exciting to see the dedication , solvency and ability to adapt that they have shown in each exercise and work that we have commissioned them . Their work is an example of how illustration can be an effective tool to raise awareness in society about the importance of protecting the planet .
Both have produced a series of illustrations -which we will be publishing periodically- on climate change , deforestation , the plastic problem or the need to promote urban mobility . Our readers have already been able to see the graphic quality of their work , as they were commissioned to illustrate the report " Travel writing : a personal approach " written by one of our star contributors , Anthony Pitaluga .
I would also like to make a special mention to the teacher of the School of Art of Cadiz and responsible for the follow-up of the students of the 2nd Training Cycle of C . F . G . S . AP . D . ( Loe ) ( Illustration ), Alberto Fernandez del Castillo , and of course to the director of this magnificent and protean center , Jose Domingo Gonzalez Leal . Without them , this enriching proposal would not have been possible .
The magazine will continue to support the work of illustrators like Andrea and Nerea . Their work skills and commitment are an example for other young artists to follow .
Let ' s get to know them better in alphabetical order .
