Those in which the lives of colleagues have been lost without doubt , and then for the damage caused : Sierra Bermeja ( Málaga ) in 1996 , Sierra Lijar ( Cádiz ), El Jautor ( Cádiz ) Quesada ( Jaén ), La Peña ( Cádiz ), Cortijo La Hoya ( Cádiz ), Doñana ( Huelva ), Río Tinto ( Huelva ), or the one in Almonaster La Real ( Huelva ). Do you think there is a good connection between the public and the system ?
There is still a lot of work to be done in this sense and in relation to the preventive culture , but there is no doubt that there are more and more signs of collaboration with citizen groups that help us in surveillance and prevention . Any anecdotes ?
A very nice one is that my two daughters , when they were little , used to pick up my transmitters and talk using our most used phrases or terms , mentioning watchtowers and places in the province by their names . Otra pieza fundamental es trabajar con los escolares en la concienciación y sensibilización . Y por supuesto , también hay que determinar las causas y motivaciones que provocan los incendios y establecer medidas de acción para prevenirlas ¿ Cómo valora la concesión del Batefuegos de Oro ?
La satisfacción por este reconocimiento es enorme , por la carga emocional que lleva y por que viene de la mano de mis compañeras y compañeros . Y por el reconocimiento de que mi principal objetivo va bien encaminado . De que estoy formando un equipo compacto y profesional , y de que puedan desarrollar su trabajo en un ambiente sano , verdadero y afable . Los incendios son algo muy destructivo , pero tienen algo muy positivo y es que generan una ola de solidaridad . ¿ Está de acuerdo ?
Todos nosotros agradecemos estas muestras de solidaridad cuando estamos trabajando en un incendio , pero sin duda resultaría mucho más efectivo si se presentaran antes de que ocurra una emergencia , ayudando en la concienciación para prevenir los incendios . ¿ Cuál ha sido el incendio mas grave en el que ha intervenido ?
En los que se han perdido vidas de compañeros sin duda , y luego por el daño causado : Sierra Bermeja ( Málaga ) en 1996 , Sierra Lijar ( Cádiz ), El Jautor ( Cádiz ) Quesada ( Jaén ), La Peña ( Cádiz ), Cortijo La Hoya ( Cádiz ), Doñana ( Huelva ), Río Tinto ( Huelva ), o el de Almonaster La Real ( Huelva ). ¿ Crees que existe una buena conexión entre la ciudadanía y el dispositivo ?
Queda mucho que trabajar en este sentido y en relación a la cultura preventiva , pero no cabe duda que cada vez hay más muestras de colaboración con colectivos ciudadanos que nos ayudan en la vigilancia y la prevención . ¿ Alguna anécdota ?
Una muy simpática es que mis dos hijas de pequeñas cogían mis emisoras y hablaban utilizando nuestras frases o términos más usados , mencionando por sus nombres torres de vigilancia y lugares de la provincia . Todo esto como consecuencia de estar la emisora sonando todo el día .
