This is a private visit to discover the Trebujena
marshes, Doñana National Park and the Doñana
Natural Park in Cadiz.
Up to six people accommodation in a splendid
private 7,000sqm cottage surrounded by vineyards,
in Trebujena, and only 5 kilometres from Doñana.
An oasis of almond, fig, carob, pomegranate, med-
lar, apricot and plumb trees as well as oleanders,
rosemary, lavender and the unmatchable Doñana
sunset.
Casa Martinete is a warm 136sqm lodge where to
enjoy the best of Andalusia and Cadiz. It consists of
a welcoming living and dining room with a firepla-
ce, three double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully
fitted kitchen, a washroom, a solarium, porch and
garden. All for you to enjoy.

Doñana Gaditana and Trebujena Marshes
Departing from Casa Martinete we go through the
marshes and vineyards in Trebujena and enjoy sce-
nery of pin-tailed sandgrouses, thekla larks, red ki-
tes, ospreys or marsh harriers. We then cross Codo
de La Esparraguera, with its marbled teals, common
shelducks and hundreds of mallards, pochards and
black storks. And the last part of the tour takes us
through Algaida pine grove and Tarelo lagoon with
its white-headed ducks as well as the Bonanza and
San Carlos marshes where we will see black-tai-
led godwits, grey plovers, flamingos and western
snowy plovers among other species.

Doñana National Park
Setting off from Bajo the Guía, we go onto a barge
to cross river Guadalquivir. From the Huelva banks
we drive on a Land Rover through the five main
ecosystems in Doñana: beaches, dunes, preserve
paths and marshes. We come across the little villa-
ges where the last guards and shepherds used to
live, see the Marismillas palace and learn about the
history, nature, culture and traditions of the most
emblematic natural space in Europe. Once on the
