A very festive and cosy welcome to our December 2022 edition . Yes , it ’ s Christmass !!!!... and it ’ s so good ! That feeling of walking through town , seeing those twinkly lights , smiles and anticipation growing is priceless .
This month we are proud to welcome back a regular column from past editions ; The Natural Swap . At OTWO headquarters we felt it was important to share this information with you guys once again . We felt an emphasis on the importance of changes we can make on our daily routines was essential . Highlighting just how much of an impact it can make to our natural world . This column shares ideas on sustainable swaps because let ’ s face it , if we are not told how damaging things are , how will we know ?
As COP27 ends we thought it a good idea to share with you how the environment is at present . Are we any better ? Are we heading in the right direction ? On page 32 you will find a detailed summary of how we are coping with current CO2 levels , deforestation , greenhouse gas emissions and the goals to keep this planet at a habitable state . It gives us realistic targets that need to be achieved for us to limit the temperature increase to a realistic level and what we need to be to achieve them . Check it out .
Following on from these targets , this month we share with you all the benefits of walkable cities . How cities around the world have adapted , removing cars from their streets and how this change has brought advantages . Yes , cities are growing , popula- tions are growing and we need to change our mindset , lifestyle , and society if we want our children and our grandchildren to enjoy life as we are . We need to realize the mistakes we have made and improve . Check out Sarah ’ s fantastic article on page 56 .
COAMBA this month has also provided us with an in-depth article on how things will change for companies in the very near future . Regulations and protocols concentrated on sustainability will be at the forefront of any decision making . The article found on page 110 “ Companies will be Sustainable , or they will not exist ” really highlights what our future company regulations will be . Sustainability must be at the core of every decision , idea , and future goal . We need to learn and evolve .
The warmest welcome back to Anthony Pitaluga . This month Anthony introduces his 14-chapter series starting with the anticipation and preparation for their Italian Experience . Join us month on month where we will experience all the breathtaking views and highlights shared so vividly by Anthony and his family .
