The game will lead the children through a number of steps and activities , allowing them to learn more about their impact on their environment and how to stop using so much plastic . If all the steps are completed , the children will be awarded with a Plastic Free Award Certificate . We hope this fun and interactive approach will appeal to kids and schools alike and will make a lasting impact on their behaviour .”
The charity is currently fundraising to make this idea a reality and expand their school education programme , which is fundamental to improving the health of our ocean .
“ Este juego se creará y distribuirá para y por los colegios e incluye trabajos prácticos -cómo llegar a no utilizar plástico , por ejemplo- que los niños de entre 10 y 13 años de edad podrán realizar en sus centros educativos . Estimulará actividades tales como las limpiezas de playas y la recogida de residuos en las calles . El juego guiará a los niños por una serie de fases y actividades , permitiéndoles aprender más sobre su impacto en el medioambiente y sobre cómo dejar de utilizar tanto plástico . De completar todas las fases , los niños recibirán un certificado que premia el no uso de plástico . Tenemos la esperanza de que este enfoque interactivo y entretenido resulte atractivo tanto para los niños como para los colegios y tenga un impacto duradero sobre su comportamiento ”.
