The first keynote speaker of the conference - Tony Juniper , a world-renowned environmentalist and sustainability advocate highlighted the theme of global emergency that is climate change . He introduced the graphic with the temperature anomalies in individual countries where the audience saw how the changing atmospheric conditions is leading to anomalies which are far outside the base period in introduced graphic between 1950 and 1980 . “ Temperature conditions changing across the Planet , we need to act now with speed !” – Tony Juniper said .
1.5-degree limit , in 2017 , the remaining carbon budget was set to last about 14 years . The faster we “ spend ” the budget , the more quickly we commit the world to breaking the 1.5-degree limit . Tony Juniper also introduced the circular economy principles for construction work .

Cuanto más rápido " gastemos " el presupuesto , más rápido comprometeremos al mundo a superar el límite de 1,5 grados .
