Our friends of the Ateneo de la Bahía have organized in the hall of the Círculo Mercantil of La Línea , together with the Asociación Memoria de Algeciras and of course with the invaluable collaboration of Garcisánchez ' s relatives an amazing exhibition about this first level photographer during the first half of the 20th century .
In the wide and varied work of Garcisánchez a very careful aesthetic is appreciated , offering images of great plasticity as it corresponds to a photographer with artistic formation . In the studio work , mainly portraits , these artistic concerns are manifested in innovative framing , risky lighting , close-ups that make up a collection of portraits of great quality in which the psychology of the character that flows through the expression and pose .
