MARKING INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’ S DAY IN GIBRALTAR
On March 4th, the Ministry of Equality hosted a meaningful conference at the Sunborn Hotel to celebrate International Women’ s Day in Gibraltar. Open to the public, the event focused on this year’ s United Nations theme:“ For ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.” The day was dedicated to recognizing the invaluable contributions of women to society while tackling the ongoing issues of gender equality.
The conference, which ran from 9 am to 1 pm, featured an engaging mix of panel discussions, personal stories, and interactive conversations. Marlene Dalli from the Ministry of Equality moderated the event, setting a tone of empowerment and inclusion. The
