Semana Verde Gibraltar 2023
El equipo de la OTWO se complace en anunciar que los preparativos para la Semana Verde de Gibraltar están muy avanzados . Los días están fijados para el fin de semana del 2 de junio para cubrir dos días muy importantes del año : el Día Mundial de la Bicicleta y el Día Mundial del Medio Ambiente .
Estamos organizando grandes actividades a lo largo de los cuatro días . Actos educativos en el Parque de la Commonwealth , con rutas ciclistas para conmemorar la nueva infraestructura de transporte sostenible , puestos de mercado , música y buen ambiente . Por la noche instalaremos puestos de comida y carpas por toda la ciudad para que nuestro entorno sea siempre tema de conversación y centro de atención .
El mensaje principal de este evento es : Nuestro Mundo , Nuestra Responsabilidad . Estamos muy orgullosos de poder organizarlo con la ayuda del Ministerio de Medio Ambiente y el Ministerio de Transportes e Infraestructuras .

These biannual awards have been held since 2014 , they recognize the quality of installations , innovation and excellence of European projects incorporating Panasonic ' s HVAC + R solutions in a wide range of markets . AGREEMENT TO PROTECT OUR OCEANS
Nations have reached a historic agreement to protect the world ' s oceans following 10 years of negotiations . The High Seas Treaty aims to help place 30 % of the seas into protected areas by 2030 with the aim of safeguarding and recuperating marine nature . These areas will put limits on how much fishing can take place , the routes of shipping lanes and exploration activities like deep sea mining .
Negotiations for this treaty had been held up for years over disagreements on funding and fishing rights .
The last international agreement on ocean protection was signed 40 years ago in 1982 and established an area called the high seas - international waters , but only 1.2 % of these waters are protected .
