When we are asked the question of what hunting , weapons , suicide and the environment have in common , it may be difficult to imagine that there could be a link between the four concepts . However , they all have traits of complicity and proximity that , surprisingly , in many cases escape popular everyday knowledge and rarely even enter into the technical debate .
To illustrate the context , it is useful to understand what is happening with weapons in our country . We should know that , according to the Statistical Yearbooks of the Ministry of the Interior , in 2019 there were 2,914,358 legal weapons within the national territory , of which , averaging those existing between 2008 and 2019 , 92 % were in the hands of private individuals ( 2,730,740 weapons in 2019 ), 6 % in the Security Forces and Corps , and 2 % in the hands of the Armed Forces .

Cuando se nos plantea la cuestión de qué es lo que tienen en común la caza , las armas , el suicidio y el medio ambiente , puede resultar difícil de imaginar que pueda existir un nexo de unión entre los cuatro conceptos . Sin embargo todos ellos tienen rasgos de complicidad y proximidad que , sorprendentemente , en muchos casos se escapan al conocimiento cotidiano popular y en raras ocasiones entran siquiera a formar parte del debate técnico .
Para ilustrar el contexto conviene comprender qué sucede con las armas en nuestro país . Debemos saber que , según los Anuarios Estadísticos del Ministerio del Interior , en el año 2019 existían 2.914.358 armas legales dentro del territorio nacional , de las cuales , haciendo una media de las existentes entre los años 2008 a 2019 , el 92 % estaba en manos de particulares ( 2.730.740 armas en 2019 ), el 6 % en las Fuerzas y Cuerpos de Seguridad , y el 2 % en poder de las Fuerzas Armadas .
