He began by warning of the correlations between the lack of preparedness for the current pandemic to the climate crisis . Global solutions to global problems through international cooperation are the only way to deal with the threats and challenges we face . However , he was ultimately hopeful for the future and the world ’ s transition towards a sustainable economy . In particular , the Biden administrations ambitious and exciting Build Back Better Plan , which will see trillions of dollars invested in sustainable infrastructure , clean energies and green mobility .
The Futures Forward Academy has put together an incredible line-up of speakers , seminars and networking possibilities that will create a new generation of sustainable leaders right here in Gibraltar , with ties across the international community .
The academy is one of the most exciting initiatives ever launched in Gibraltar , working to prepare the next generation of leaders for the challenges they will undoubtedly face .
