Some of the educational programs offered in-
clude a replica of a Neolithic settlement which has
been constructed following 20 years of archaeologi-
cal research. Sixteen huts have been built and each
filled with utensils and primitive household tools, gi-
ving the visitor a good sense of how prehistoric life
in the area would have been.
Our interactive exhibit, “The world of birds”, is
an ornithological observatory where you can learn
how to identify the different bird species, their nests
and chicks, the type of food they eat and the dangers
that threaten them, amongst other aspects of the li-
ves of these wonderful creatures.
The Geological area of the Algaba is a window
into the Serrania de Ronda and a place where you
can experience an exceptional and unique geogra-
phical region where nearly all of the characteristic of
the Baetic Mountain Ranges can be found.

El Área de Geología de la Algaba es una ventana
a la Serranía de Ronda por ser un territorio de una
singularidad geológica excepcional. En ella están
presentes casi todas las unidades que conforman la
Cordillera Bética.
La parte noble del cortijo la hemos rehabilitado y
acondicionado como centro de formación, educación
y eventos. Está dotada con varias salas, aula al aire
libre, comedor, sala de usos múltiples, biblioteca y
salón de actos con capacidad para cincuenta perso-
nas.
Sus características son sencillez, belleza y fun-
cionalidad necesarias para proporcionar el ambiente
adecuado para la realización de cursos, jornadas, re-
uniones, encuentros y pequeñas celebraciones.
