Apply now for a 2023 RCOT Research Foundation Grant

Professional RCOT members can now apply for a Research Foundation Grant . The RCOT Research Foundation aims to increase research capacity and capability within the profession and advance building the evidence-base for occupational therapy . You can use one of our grants to support your research needs :
Research Priority Grant : One grant of up to £ 100,000 A grant to support a project that clearly addresses one or more of the top 10 priorities for occupational therapy research in the UK and increases the research capacity of the profession by including developmental opportunities for other OTs to gain research experience within the project .
Research Career Development Grant : Two grants of up to £ 10,000 each A grant to support developing your career as an occupational therapy researcher .
Systematic Review Grant : Up to two grants , totalling £ 20,000 A grant to support the appraisal and summary of the evidence base underpinning occupational therapy in a research priority area for the profession .
• All research projects will need to link to the top 10 priorities for occupational therapy research in the UK .
• Lead applicants must be professional members of the British Association of Occupational Therapists ( BAOT ) at the time of applying .
• Co-applicants don ’ t have to be OTs , but those who ’ ve got an OT qualification must also be members of BAOT .
• We value the diversity of our membership , and we strongly encourage grant applications from all sections of our community , especially those from under-represented groups .
• Grants are open to doctoral and post-doctoral researchers at all stages of their career development .
