Creating a lively and vibrant Community of Practice for SI
Sensory Integration is Everyone ’ s Business : ASI Wise – an RCOT Resource Zone sponsor – is a non-profit organisation partnering with Sensory Project , which has created a lively and vibrant Community of Practice .
Our community includes therapists , parents , individuals with lived experience and professionals who regularly value and contribute to it .
It provides allyship alongside a wealth of data , discussions and support to all members , no matter when they join or from where . The community fosters inclusivity , a sense of belonging and encouragement ; a safe space for people to share ideas , seek advice and guidance and learn .
Members from our community of practice have expressed that they feel ‘ I can respond , knowing that my contributions are valued ’ and ‘ that there are many layers of knowledge , with many learning opportunities offered with care ’.
We invest in producing accessible resources , including our NHS-friendly , state-of-the-art technology , which is essential to delivering ways of bringing people together and supporting our community events .
ASI Wise actively engages with the wider ICE-ASI global community and promotes allyship . Our free Sensory Ladders Project exemplifies our commitment to inclusivity and allyship , funding their translation into the UK and Ireland ’ s top 15 languages .
