SOCIAL CARE RESEARCH FUNDING CALLS FOR ENGLAND
Funding calls for people working in research about adult social care in England are now available . The funding from the National Institute for Health Research ’ s School for Social Care Research includes individual career development awards and developing research leaders awards , both of which can be up to £ 50,000 . Both have a deadline of 2 June , although you must announce an intention to submit for the developing research leaders awards in advance . NEW HCPC MATERIALS ON REFLECTIVE PRACTICE
The Health and Care Professions Council has launched new materials to help registrants to reflect on their practice as part of its guidance on how to meet its standards . The new materials include detail on different types of reflection , information on how reflection can help to meet standards , case studies and templates . Full report on research priorities now available for download
The full report on the Top 10 research priorities for occupational therapy in the UK is now available for members to download . The Top 10 were agreed by consensus last year in a priority setting partnership between RCOT and the James Lind Alliance .
This project bought together people who access services , occupational therapists and others working in the health and care environment , to identify and prioritise the unanswered questions people have about occupational therapy that research could answer .
