Are you an ambitious occupational therapy professional looking for both a fresh career challenge , and a better quality of life ? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Occupational Therapist to join our joint NHS Shetland and Shetland Islands Council OT Service .
Could you lead and manage a team of community based occupational therapists in the Shetland Islands ? Can you adapt to the challenges of working in an integrated health and social care team and fi nd creative solutions to supporting people to live in their own homes and actively participate in their local community ? If so , we would love you to join our friendly , supportive team .
You will be responsible for line managing Occupational Therapists , and Therapy Assistants . The role will be central to maintaining excellent services for our clients , and also the strategic development and implementation of new and innovative services in rapidly changing environments .
EMPLOYER
You will have excellent organisational skills and be a clear and effective communicator . Experience in delivering and developing operational services to defi ned standards and targets , as well as personal motivation and ability to motivate others are essential . You must also possess an Hons Degree in Occupational Therapy ( or equivalent Diploma ) and be registered with Health and Care Professions Council .
