Accreditation of pre-registration programmes Apply for the role of RCOT accreditor

The Royal College of Occupational Therapists ' ( RCOT ) accreditation process ensures that UK occupational therapy pre-registration programmes meet the current learning and development standards set by RCOT .
The process involves a panel of accreditors :
• assessing and critically reviewing the occupational therapy provision ;
• actively participating in the review and evaluation process ; and
• working collaboratively with the RCOT panel , the education provider , and stakeholders .
Accreditors are selected from a range of occupational therapists , who are RCOT members with significant experience in occupational therapy pre-registration education .
We are currently accepting applications for accreditors . We are keen to actively recruit people from under-represented groups and a range of backgrounds , and are eager to welcome broad perspectives , skills , and experiences .
Being an accreditor is a valuable service and will add substantially to professional development for the forthcoming academic period .
