A pproximately half of those who have a stroke experience post-stroke fatigue . This fatigue can have a debilitating effect on stroke survivors and their families by impacting on their daily activities and ability to participate in rehabilitation .
As part of the Nottingham Fatigue after Stroke ( NOTFAST2 ) study
( Drummond et al 2020 ), funded by the Stroke Association , we wanted to understand more about the management of post-stroke fatigue .
We undertook a scoping review ( Aali et al 2020 ) and conducted qualitative studies to explore clinical ( Drummond et al 2021 ) and stroke survivor and caregiver ( Ablewhite et al , under review ) perspectives .
