Help us find members of the public to join our Research Foundation Advisory Group
We ’ re looking for two members of the public to help us make sure the research we fund benefits the people who access occupational therapy services .
Every year , our Research Foundation provides grants of between £ 10,000 and £ 100,000 to individuals researching key areas of occupational therapy . The Research Foundation Advisory Group meets once a year to decide which applications should be awarded grants . We need your help to find two people to join this group .
This opportunity would be right for someone who has accessed occupational therapy services , or knows someone who has , and has an interest in research .
As a public contributor they : ✓ will give their views about each application . ✓ will need to read the applications in advance . ✓ will attend the annual meeting ( they can join virtually ). ✓ will be compensated for their time and reasonable expenses .
Help us let people know about this opportunity by : ✓ Talking to the people who use your services and their friends , family members or carers .
✓ Sharing the opportunity on social media using the hashtag # RCOTPublicContributor .
