Developing the simulation scenarios
During the scoping process for the preceptorship project , it became apparent that our newly qualified AHPs had missed out on learning opportunities and experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic and we could explore innovative learning opportunities to support them to address these gaps , while preparing them for working at the trust .

the learning needs , identified themes and learning objectives . The group agreed on six topics for further practical training as part of the programme . It was deemed that two topics would suit a simulation learning environment . These were :
