There are 13 funding
opportunities available,
with awards ranging from
£500 to £5,000
Applications are now open for the 2021 RCOT Annual
Awards for learning, development and research. The
awards provide funding opportunities to support our
members with a wide range of activities.
Across the ten award categories, there are
opportunities for everyone: in all areas of practice; for
innovators and entrepreneurs; early and experienced
researchers; learners and support staff. With 13
opportunities in total, including the new for 2021 Tunstall
Award for Technology Innovation in Occupational Therapy,
there are awards for groups and individuals, as well as for
UK and international activities.
Awards available:
• AMPS-ESI UK & Ireland Award – one award of £1,000
• Innovation Award – one award of £2,000
• Institute of Social Psychiatry Award – one award of £2,000
• International Activity Award – two awards of £750 each
• Pearson Award – one award of £750
• The Barbara Tyldesley Student Award – two awards of £500 each
• RCOT Student Award for Entrepreneurship and Leadership
– one award of £500
• The Constance Owens Early Researcher Award – one award of
£5,000
• The Constance Owens Liverpool Award for Service Development
– two awards of £1,000 each
• NEW – The Tunstall Award for Technology Innovation in
Occupational Therapy – one award of £1,500
For 2021 awards we are encouraging
applicants to think creatively and take into
account new ways of working and how people
are adapting their learning, practice and
research in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
