Students and staff at Cardiff University share how they are collectively acknowledging and celebrating the ways students are living the occupational therapy ethos .
E ngaging with our community , developing our learning and living an occupationally balanced life is what occupational therapy students are taught to aspire to , for both themselves and their patients , as they enter the occupational therapy profession .
But how can these occupational therapy-centric values be nurtured in an educational setting , where academic achievement is considered the priority in recording individual development ?
Occupational therapy students and staff at Cardiff University have created an online space called OT Plus , to acknowledge students ’ participation in everything outside of their timetabled academic work .
