Another retail location in London is Bond Street, not far from Carnaby street but it has a very different character. Bond Street is lined with the worlds luxury brands, its name for being one of the most expensive and desired locations for retailers in Europe has drawn in the bid dogs. With its name for luxury clothing dating back to the 18 th century Bond Street holds a number of flagship stores.

Compared to Carnaby street its customer are likely to live in closer proximity in areas such as Mayfair, Chelsea and Knightsbridge. Although others do visit from further locations. The customers may not be as likely to use public transport but not to worry the street is easily accessible by car so you can be dropped off outside your favourite store. For those that do use public transport tube stations aren't far, with Piccadilly and Bond Street stations a couple minutes walk away.

With dozens of of luxury stores its key for retailers to display their most impressive items to attract customers to buy from them. The location of Bond Street is ideal for its customers who are often of an older and wealthier demographic. So being on a quitter street is more attractive to customers.

Many stores are here because of the name, some may not be producing enough profit from the store on this street to pay for the rent so is relying on other locations to produce more revenue.
