Have you ever been asked to be a Lion ?
Consider this a personal invitation to join the largest volunteer service organization in the world with over 1.4 million members in 46,000 Lions Clubs in 207 countries .
Ever thought of doing things to help out the community , country or world but just don ’ t know how one person can accomplish it ?
Then come and join the members of the Osseo Lions who have been working for the past 70 + years to make the community , country and world a better place to live .
The Osseo Lions Club supports education , sports teams , school clubs , veteran projects , cultural organizations , research on diabetes , vision , hearing and so much more .
Lions International supports and helps to accomplish goals throughout the United States and the globe .
Some of these projects include : eye glasses that are refurbished for second and third world countries , humanitarian needs for people in need of housing and basic nourishment , vision screening for children , medical care , financial assistance during times of natural disaster , supporting youth through the Lions Quest program and much , much more .
The Osseo Lions also provide a way of becoming part of the community through different events held right here in Osseo .
Like the Lions Roar Days , Palm Sunday Pancake Breakfast , Osseo Car Show , Halloween Festival , Christmas in the Park , Lunch with Santa and more .
