NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR
ALUMNI ENGAGEMENT
A RECONSTITUTED OS LEADERSHIP COMMITTEE
OS founding director, Rick Price, established the Organizational Studies Leadership Committee
(OSLC) soon after the program was born. Our pioneering OSLC members were LSA alumni, including
former CEO of JetBlue Airways, Dave Barger, and President and CEO of Levy Restaurants, Andy
Lansing. The OSLC provided us with major financial support, internships, and expertise at our
annual business meetings. As the OSLC grew, its members began advocating for the presence of
our OS alumni at these meetings. Some of you may have joined us at these meetings, either as
students during our lunch mentoring sessions, or later, as guests of the director.
Based on conversations over the past year with our current OSLC members and OS guests of
the director, we will transform our leadership committee to consist mainly of OS alumni with the
full range of our graduates’ post-OS experiences. Our current OSLC members will remain as an
honorary board, serving in an informal advisory capacity.
We hope to share more news with you about the new structure of the committee later this year.
