After Gunnar Cyrén ’ s passing in 2013 , the designer ’ s sons went through the sketches he left behind . They found sketches of a champagne glass inspired by the ” Snaps Devil ” glass from the Nobel collection . The champagne glass , called Sparkling Devil , went into production and is now part of the Orrefors assortment . The item is mouthblown in Sweden and each glass is hand-painted with details in real 22-carat gold . The collection is available in several color variations and a new color will be added annually until the collection is complete .
