The Reed series by Orrefors began as three-dimensional sketches in cardboard and paper . Monica Förster ’ s design work then proceeded to add character to the material by emphasizing its folds instead of hiding them . Transferred to glass , the result is a true sense of organic movement . A soft , swaying motion in the hard glass .
The acclaimed Reed program , including three mold-blown vases in three sizes , is now extended with the introduction of two new votives and a hurricane lamp .
