In the summer of 1905, twenty three amateur and professional magicians gathered together at London's Pinoli's Restaurant with the intention of forming a magic club. The result was the founding of The Magic Circle.

Congratulations to Tom Peach in Y13 who has just been accepted into the Young Magic Circle and at 18 years of age will automatically become a member of the magic circle.

'I am not doing magic for the money or fame,

I am doing magic because I love to entertain

and fool people'

Tom started with simple card tricks, now he makes his own effects and is performing for other professional magicians. Tom can perform: card, rope, coin, rings and mind reading magic tricks. He also does magic with every day objects. The main art Tom performs is mentalism.

What is mentalism?

This is magic with the mind. Mind magic is when you get people to think what you are thinking and also read their minds. Tom says

'I love magic, and performing,

Magic is a disappearing art so keep magic alive'.
