MFL trip to Spain 2013
As a supplementary part of Spanish studies within the academy, the MFL department took a six-day trip to Spain last July. They stayed in the coastal resort of L’Estartit on the Costa Brava, at the Hotel Les Illes.
The educational visit enabled students to apply the Spanish that they had learnt in class to every day transactions, such as ordering food and drinks, buying souvenirs and asking for information.
Students also had the chance to enrich their geographical, historical and religious knowledge as they visited the sights of Girona and the coastal resorts of, Lloret, L’Escala and Roses. The students were a credit to the academy and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
The MFL department is looking forward to its next visit in July 2014.
