For just 50p each Miss Walters made these delicious Pudsey bear biscuits to raise money

for Children In Need. Within minutes these yummy

treats were gobbled up by students and staff and

all together raised £60

for the cause.

Children In Need campaign at Shelfield

Each year here at Shelfield we make a conscious effort to support Children In Need. The staff and students come together to raise money for disadvantaged children across the country.

This year we had several different activities taking place such as biscuit baking, treasure hunting, guess the sweets in the jar competition, guess the teddy bear's name competition, a special video

in which staff showcased

their dance moves, and the highly anticipated 'Eat-Off' event where students bought tickets to watched staff

indulge in horrid snacks such as sheep's brains and cows' eyes!

Below the picture of sweets we

have Nathan Mansell Green holding the teddy bear, whose name the students had to guess.

We also have Shane Parker making a difference by planning a treasure hunt where by students paid for three clues to find a prize hidden somewhere in the academy.

All these activities have been organised by dedicated staff and students who have

took it upon

themselves to come up with ideas on how to raise money for Children In Need.

Starting from the top: Chief fund raisers

and organisers Mrs Stopford and Mrs Holdcroft who have taken part each year

to raise money.
