A little bit about myself: I love math but I'm interested in a lot of areas including non-stem areas as well.

But about my research experiences, my most prominent one was about protein modeling related to heart disease and cardiac hypertrophy with professor Kevin Jin at Stanford University; it was my 10th grade science fair project. This project was definitely eye opening - I realized that yet so much science of the future can utilize computers.

It was astounding that I was able to model a protein without the conventional equipment that researchers and professors use, that I could do something that most professors take a lifetime to achieve, all over a period of a couple months. Participating at the national biogeneius challenge and being able to attend the 2013 Bio convention was definitely an experience I won't forget, as I got to talk to peers and professors who were as interested as I was in scientific research. It was even more unbelievable that I could go as an underclassman and I felt truly proud of myself.
