Workplace stress was endemic in Singapore before Covid-19 erupted , with the City State regularly ranking as one of the world ’ s most overworked cities . This paper investigates whether Singaporean employers and employees are now finding better ways to mitigate stress and the impact it has on our health and productivity . We also look at whether the insurance industry is providing the coverage needed to afford quality care and reduce long-term costs . Energy & Utilities Committee hosts Thinktank Roundtable at Singapore International Energy Week for third consecutive year
Following the success of past virtual Thinktank Roundtables as part of the official programme for SIEW , the Chamber ' s Energy & Utilities Committee was invited to participate in the first fully in-person edition since Covid . Starting with a fireside chat between Committee Chair Tim Rockell and FCDO Regional Director SE Asia , Climate and Energy Tom Moody , the conversation moved into a panel discussion with strong expertise in creating hydrogen and carbon capture clusters across the region . This featured moderator Mark Florance , Co-Chair of the Committee , with panellists Rob Cooper from bp , Peter Godfrey from The Energy Institute , Mauricio Riveros Rodríguez from The Carbon Trust and Nick Dingemans from Penningtons Manches Cooper LLP .
