Tropical Fruit Smoothies
Swap out store bought juiced for homemade
smoothies. Not only are they healthier, but it gives
you an opportunity to create, create, create with your
kids. This recipe is one of many varieties you can try.
Ingredients
1 cup mango, peeled and seeded
1 cup pineapple, peeled and chopped
1 cup papaya, peeled and seeded
½ cup medjool dates (previously soaked in 1 cup of warm water for
minimum 1 hr)
3 ½ cups coconut/almond milk
1 cup ice (optional for those really hot days)
Directions
Mix all ingredients in a blender to desired consistency. Voila!

Cantaloupe Pops
Refreshing and extremely cooling, this
is one of the favs. Its all natural and
extremely affordable to make. The only
additional requirement for this treat
is the pop tray - which is also pretty
affordable, so make sure you try this
one before summer ends. Every child
deserves to experience this.
Ingredients
1 whole cantaloupe, peeled, seeded and chopped
¼ cup chopped fresh mint leaves
¼ cup flax seeds (previously soaked in ½ cup of warm
water for minimum 1 hr)
Directions
Mix all ingredients in a blender until smooth; Pour
mixture into slots on pop tray; Cover with sticks and
place in freezer for about 3 hours. Time can vary
according to your freezer. Try not to take out before
its ready… but when it is, enjoy the freshness!
