He plans to pursue musical theater in college. Shout out to Miranda Sings, potatoes, ramen, Tarzan, and his wonderful friends and family for their support! ALLISON MERKEL Allison is a junior at ACMA who is not related to Angela Merkel, the chancellor of Germany. Allison specializes in mom dancing and mom music. A member of Young Professionals, this is her second year in Impulse! Favorite roles include Master Jaques in The Miser and Estella in Great Expectations. Thanks to Jake and Dani for all the opportunities! BLAKE PEEBLES Blake is a senior at Lake Oswego High School. This is his 4th year as a YP and his 3rd year doing Impulse! Blake loves thinking on his feet and is super excited to be back doing improv. You may have seen him last season at OCT as Mortimer in Zombie in Love. He is back in the world of the living and would like to thank OCT for such a great experience the past four years! ISAIAH ROSALES Isaiah is a senior at Aloha High School. He is an OCT Young Professional as well as a second-year Staged! Conservatory student. He was last seen as Frankie Epps in Parade (Staged!). Isaiah is active in his school’s theater and choir programs SIMON SCHILLER Simon is a third year veteran of Impulse!, an OCT Young Professional, and a senior at Catlin Gabel School. He has travelled across the country to study improv and is thrilled to perform with Impulse! one last time. He would like to thank Debby Dodds, his mentor and the one who first introduced him to theater. JAKE MICHELS (Director) Jake, a former YP and OCT’s Education Associate, started his improv training at the OCT Acting Academy when was 13 years old. Since then, he’s taught improv classes for kids and adults, produced and directed multiple Portland shows, and is currently a company member at Curious Comedy Theater. He performs in Whiskey Tango (LA Improv Festival, Vancouver International Improv Festival, Del Close Marathon, Sketchfest), produces Fit To Print and can be seen on various stages around town. This is his 6th year directing Impulse!, and he’s thankful for such a wonderful team of inspiring Young Professionals! HEIDI OSAKI (Production Assistant) Heidi, a 9th grader at Grant High School, is so stoked to be joining the Impulse! scene. She was last seen in The Lottery as part of the Grant High School One Acts. As a second year Young Professional, she would like to thank Dani, Jake, and Stan for their amazing guidance and support. Apart from acting, Heidi also is an avid traveler and her hobbies include photography, playing the piano, baking, and petting cats. DANI BALDWIN (OCT Education Director/ Production Team) Dani is the Education Director at OCT where she runs the Young Professionals Company. She frequently acts, directs, and designs for OCT. Most recently Dani appeared in Fancy Nancy, and directed A Year With Frog and Toad (seven Drammy Awards). Outside of OCT, she has performed with Sojourn Theatre, Chianti Club Presents, Tapestry Theater, and Miracle; plus she’s a regular actor with Kaiser Permanente. DON CROSSLEY (OCT Production Associate/ Production Team) Don has been working in theater in Portland for 20 years and is excited to be part of the OCT Production Team for the 2014-15 season. Previously for OCT, Don has worked as the Lighting Designer for such notable productions as The Storm in the Barn, Alice & Wonderland, and Einstein is a Dummy, as well as serving as the Production Electrician for several other wonderful OCT productions. Don is also the Production Manager for Third Rail Repertory Theatre where he has been a company member since 2008 and was the Master Electrician for Portland Center Stage from 1996-2007.
