A complete coil roll of 3,000 of this extremely rare narrow
spacing ‘PRESORTED/FIRST-CLASS’ precancel type. As a
full roll of 3,000, it can yield up to 120 line pairs and 120 gap
pairs. Current Brookman retail for line pairs $450 each,
translating to $54,000, not counting singles or gaps. Factoring
in the singles (another $138,000) brings the total to $192,000
Brookman catalog value. Coil also comes with ORIGINAL
COIL LABEL which without a doubt adds to its provenance.
An opportunity to obtain one of the few known rolls of these
stamps at a fraction of catalog value. Stamps well centered
vertically. Very fine.
