NATAL #97; GAMBIA #3 (margin crease); VIRGIN ISLANDS
#9; TURKS ISLANDS #2, 40; ST. LUCIA #38-39. Also some
used, including a number of CAPE OF GOOD HOPE Triangles
and more. Some faults, mis-id’s, revenue cancels, & other
things, still much useful and certainly worth a look. Owner’s
taped estimated catalog of $26,210 – includes some mis-ids.
Hundreds of stamps in stock book and on stock pages, with
many Kangaroos to 2/- and many George V as well, with
individual values noted up to $250 each. Collection also
includes smattering of intermediate issues (1940s-’70s), then
begins to pick up with later issues, virtually all mint. Lion’s
share of value, however, lies in early Australia, Queensland
and New South Wales. Victoria and Western Australia also
represented. Must have a look! Very high catalog value and
discoveries waiting to be made. Overall fine & better.
