Course Description:
GCSE Combined Science provides students with a broad understanding of Biology, Chemistry and Physics, developing scientific knowledge, investigative skills and analytical thinking. It covers key concepts such as cells, chemical reactions, energy, forces and ecosystems, with a focus on real-world applications.
Assessment consists of six exam papers( two for each science discipline):
Biology Paper 1 & 2 1h 15m each 16.7 %
Chemistry Paper 1 & 2 1h 15m each 16.7 %
Physics Paper 1 & 2 1h 15m each 16.7 %
Students receive two GCSE grades based on overall performance. The course includes required practicals, developing experimental and problem-solving skills.
