New Beginnings
There ’ s no doubt that 2020 has been the year of change for Canadians . And while the coronavirus pandemic has affected us all , it has also given us a chance to grow in ways we never thought possible .
One of these ways for myself is by becoming the new publisher of Optical Prism ; the highlight of an already-crazy year . And while I have been in the magazine industry for over 20 years , working with brands such as Canadian Living , Style at Home and Elle Canada , owning and operating a magazine as great as Optical Prism is new to me .
Fortunately , I ’ ve already been part of this team for the last year and a half , working as the art director alongside such a wonderful editorial team . Even more fortunate , this editorial team will be staying and continuing to create industry-leading content in the form of Optical Prism , while making my transition as seamless as possible .
So while Optical Prism ’ s publisher may have changed , the quality and touchstones of this magazine will not . For 38 years , Optical Prism has been a staple in the Canadian optical marketplace , and not even a worldwide pandemic will change that .
As the publisher , I am excited to continue to uphold the high standards Optical Prism has for itself , and am ready to embrace the new page that Optical Prism and its audience have turned , together .
