Rebecca Minkoff, the leading designer in accessible
luxury handbags, accessories, footwear and apparel,
continues to evolve the brand with the debut of the
Rebecca Minkoff spring/summer 2019 eyewear collec-
tion, produced and distributed by Safilo Group. The
collection will feature 18 sunglass styles and the
brand’s first-ever optical collection, with 14 frames.
These are accessible, head-turning optical frames and
sunglasses that women can wear on any occasion.
Tilden 1
The collection hones in on a few recognizable design
details and distinguishing elements to convey a
distinctive identity comprised of three inspirational
themes: strength and softness; inner rockstar;
and confidence.
Stevie 4
The optical collection includes Tilden 1, a stylish
cat-eye frame with top brow in acetate complemented
by acetate temples and iconic round-shaped stud-
ded accents and Stevie 4, oversized aviator frames in
metal featuring a “Love Is Love” idiom lasered on the
top left rim. Brooke 1, meanwhile, is a 1950s-inspired
cat-eye optical frame with star-shaped stud accents in
unique custom acetate colourations.

SPECSY
3-D printed nylon frames with laser-cut
metal temples are the newest eyewear
design available from Specsy.
The Toronto-based company provides
optical retailers with the hardware and
software to digitally design custom
frames for their clients in the eye care
professional’s own store. The custom-
ized frames are then created on Specsy’s
state-of-the-art 3D printer.
