MENZIUSO NAMED NEW WORLDWIDE PRESIDENT FOR J & J VISION CARE
Johnson & Johnson Vision has announced that Peter Menziuso will assume the role of worldwide president , vision care , for Johnson & Johnson Vision .
He replaced Swami Raote , who retired at the end of 2020 , after a 29-year tenure with Johnson & Johnson .
Menziuso came to the role with over 25 years of experience across Johnson & Johnson , most recently acting as president , cardiovascular & metabolism , Janssen .
Menziuso returns to Johnson & Johnson Vision Care , formerly serving as president , North America . Under Menziuso , North America delivered the highest revenue growth in the last decade and strengthened brand equity for the world ’ s best-selling brand of contact lens , ACUVUE , in the U . S . and Canada .

COOPERVISION UPGRADING QUEBEC FACILITY
In response to the growing adoption of its specialty contact lenses by eye care professionals , CooperVision Specialty EyeCare has announced investments in its Sherbrooke , Que ., and Gilbert , Ariz ., manufacturing facilities .
The Sherbrooke facility , located southeast of Montreal , mainly produces Blanchard Onefit and Onefit MED scleral contact lenses . Accommodating increased volume demands from the Americas and other global markets , the site will benefit from several upgrades such as expanded advanced lathing technologies and renovated laboratory space .
The Gilbert site currently produces Paragon CRT contact lenses and materials . The group ’ s ambitious expansion plans will grow the facility to more than 45,000 square feet by 2025 , with a refurbished shipping and warehouse centre and a substantially larger specialty lens manufacturing floor .
LACASSE NAMED VP , BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AT NEW LOOK
New Look Vision Group Inc has announced the appointment of Jean-François Lacasse as vice-president , business development .
Lacasse , who is based in Montreal , is an experienced optical industry executive , with over 30 years experience in business development . His previous experience includes sales management , business development and integration positions with contact lens and ophthalmic lenses manufacturers in Canada .
Antoine Amiel , CEO of New Look Vision , says “ Jean- François ’ track record and experience , in the fields of growth , integration , business to business and lens product development are instrumental to support New Look Vision ’ s current strategic and operating priorities .” OP
