The combination of stainless steel and
acetate on each design creates a union that

oxidized steel brow piece, the curved sensu-
ality of Yvette and the daring rustic metal
Bijou complete with acetate accents above
the eye line, this trio defies convention.

by Neubau Eyewear, distributed in Canada by Canadi-
an Optical Supply Co.
The frames are made using a 100 per cent bio-based
material, natural3D, and 3D printing process, making
the styles lighter, more comfortable and the perfect fit.
Forming the basis of natural3D is an oil extracted from
the seeds of the castor oil plant. The resulting powder
is merged together layer by layer by a laser during the
3D printing process, with any excess material being re-
used for additional prints. As neubau eyewear has developed
a procedure for smoothing and sealing the surface of the
natural3D models, they are particularly skin-friendly and
their colours last even longer.
The 3D temples have an integrated titanium needle, which
allows the glasses to be easily adjusted in just a few steps.
