Throughout the years, Morel has

and owns a dozen of subsidiaries
throughout the world. Mr. Brown is a visionary leader
with a proven track-record
of success at the federal and
provincial levels of government,
and in the not-for-profit and
private sectors. He is a former
chief of staff of the Ontario
cabinet and served in a number of
senior roles in government from
1996-2003.
With the creation of Morel
Canada, Morel is planning on
turning the brand into a staple for
this new territory, using not only
their expertise in eyewear but
also Lanctôt’s knowledge in the
Canadian market. Mr. Brown is known for bringing
consensus amongst diverse
stakeholders and advocating for
policy change, funding and access
to new innovative therapies to
improve the health of Ontarians.
Prior to joining OAO, Mr. Brown
held senior leadership roles as
director at the Heart and Stroke
Foundation, as vice-president at
the Juvenile Diabetes Research
Foundation and as a senior
consultant in the private sector.
BROWN named CEO of
OAO
The Ontario Association of
Optometrists has announced the
appointment of Mr. Justin Brown
as CEO.
