CHANGES TO
ESSILOR BOARD
The Board of Directors of Essilor International
has announced changes in its composition.
Henrietta Fore has announced her resignation
from the board after being appointed executive
director of UNICEF on Jan. 1, 2018.
Yi He, director representing the employee
shareholders through the Valoptec Association,
has also announced that he will resign from the
board following the end of his term as a board
director of the Valoptec Association.
Given that the combination with Luxottica is
under way, the Essilor Board of Directors did not
feel this was an appropriate time to appoint two
new members to succeed them.
